Ini Reaksi Awal Kritikus Terhadap Film Captain Marvel

Dengan hanya dua setengah minggu tersisa sampai pemutaran perdana film Captain Marvel pada 8 Maret mendatang.Tidak dipungkiri lagi, film ini sudah sangat ditunggu oleh para penggemar bahkan semenjak diumumkan pengerjaannya oleh pihak Marvel Studios. Dan kini reaksi pertama dari screening awal untuk para awak media dan kritikus (di Amerika) telah muncul di dunia maya.

Dapat dikatakan bahwa hampir semua reaksi dan pendapat para kritikus dan media setempat memuji film ini. Mereka juga memuji penampilan Brie Larson dan Ben Mendelshon yang tampil cemerlang dan mencuri perhatian dalam film ini.

Captain Marvel: a genuine movie with character arcs, themes, gravity, and frames that pop. The ensemble chemistry and low-key asides reminded me of the first Captain America (my fav). Carol goes off, which is extremely fulfilling.

Captain Marvel mengikuti petualangan Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) saat ia menjadi salah satu pahlawan paling kuat di alam semesta ketika Bumi terperangkap di tengah perang galaksi antara dua ras alien. Berlatar tahun 1990-an, film ini adalah petualangan baru dari periode yang sebelumnya tidak terlihat dalam sejarah Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Dalam film ini, Brie Larson ditemani oleh Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, dengan Annette Bening, dan Jude Law. Mengulang peran mereka dari Guardians of Galaxy adalah Djimon Hounsou dan Lee Pace, dan kembali lagi ke film Marvel Studios adalah Clark Gregg yang akan berperan sebagai Agent Phil Coulson.

Film Marvel ini diarahkan oleh duo penulis dan sutradara Anna Boden dan Ryan Fleck, yang pernah menggarap Mississippi Grind dan Half Nelson.
