Ketika menghadiri acara Toronto Internasional Film Festival (TIFF) 2018, Ryan Gosling menyempatkan diri untuk mengunjungi sebuah coffee shop. Ia mengunjungi café tersebut bukan tanpa alasan atau hanya ingin membeli secangkir kopi, melainkan gara-gara sebuah kampanye viral di Twitter yang mengundang aktor tersebut untuk mengunjugi tempat bernama Grinder tersebut.

Sang pemilik, Joelle Murray memulai kampanye tersebut dengan menggunakan hastag #RyanNeedsGrinder. Bahkan Walikota Toronto, John Tory juga ikut “membantu” kampanye untuk “mendatangkan” Gosling tersebut. Sampai akhirnya sang aktor datang dan memberi kejutan kepada sang pemilik.
