Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, bersamaan dengan pengumuman nominasi dari Academy Awards, pengumuman nominasi dari Golden Raspberry Awards atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Razzie Awards juga diumumkan. Dan untuk tahun ini film Robert Downey Jr., Dolittle, drama musikal kontroversial Music, dan dokumenter Absolute Proof masuk bursa nominasi. Namun yang cukup unik adalah masuknya Glenn Close dalam daftar nominasi aktris pendukung terburuk di film Hillbilly Elegy namun disaat yang bersamaan ia juga mendapat nominasi sebagai aktris pendukung terbaik di ajang Oscar untuk film yang sama.
Untuk tahun ini, Razzie juga memberikan “Special Governors’ Trophy” untuk tahun 2020 sebagai “The Worst Calendar Year EVER.” Beberapa film yang masuk nominasi Razzie 2021 lainnya adalah Fantasy Island dan film komedi Hubie Halloween serta The Wrong Missy.
