Akhirnya para pemenang Screen Actors Guild Awards tahun ini secara resmi telah diumumkan. Upacara penghargaan ini merupakan siaran satu jam yang direkam sebelumnya, tidak seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
Sekitar 160.000 anggota dewan memberikan kemenangan dan menghormati mendiang Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Yuh-Jung Youn, Daniel Kaluuya dan para pemeran “The Trial of the Chicago 7” dalam kategori film. Sedangkan untuk dunia televisi, serial Schitt’s Creek dan The Crown masih mendominasi.
